Love how the Overdyed 18oz Vintage is looking after four weeks of daily wear. Blues gradually coming through, and honeycombs have set in nicely

RE: IRON HEART WAYWT - 2024 EDITION
My denim might actually see a hard day's work today haha... normally office based but helping some friends move house this weekend.
Wore this CPO last time they moved a few years back, how time flies...

I try not to wear this jacket too often, as it's more of a statement piece, but when I do I start the day feeling like a bad motherfucker.

RE: Anyone here play video games?
@SKT they're very different games, but it reminded me a lot of Outer Wilds from a stylistic perspective. Have you played that one?
I had the OW theme as my alarm tone for a while

RE: Anyone here play video games?
Played through Firewatch over the last couple of evenings, short and sweet at around 3/4h long, but such a beautiful experience.
You play a character that has taken a job as a fire watch-man (I think that's the correct term...) at a National Park in Wyoming to get away from some demons, and things that have happened in his personal life.
The game flashes forward through a period of three months as you build a relationship with a mysterious colleague, whilst suspicious occurrences start to happen around you...
Any more info would spoil the experience, but if anyone is looking for a casual, narrative driven game you can have wrapped in little more than the length of a movie, I couldn't recommend it more.

RE: Anyone here play video games?
@RobeOfTheMagi I find myself playing 90% casual indy titles nowadays, puzzles game in particular! Not exactly putting the power of the PS5 to good use, but it's nice to have when a big title comes out I wanna try..
I played WoW too, and other MMOs many years back, but don't allow myself to play anything online nowadays cause I'm terrified of being recaptured in the thrall of gaming addiction once again...

RE: Anyone here play video games?
@RobeOfTheMagi do you have a new-ish console?
A few great games have come out in recent years inspired by games such a Chrono Trigger.
Sea of Stars (has been described as a spiritual successor to CT) and Crosscode (one of my favourite games in recent years) come to mind.

RE: Learning moments in my denim journey
@ARNC said in Learning moments in my denim journey:
but others camp out in my head and haunt my dreams until I buy them
Ahhh I hate this feeling, I'll sometimes become so fixated on something it'll manifest in my dreams... (Leather T3 most recently...)

RE: Learning moments in my denim journey
@RobeOfTheMagi I definitely spent a little more than I could really afford to in my first couple of years frequenting this forum (two year anniversary tomorrow, woo) but now I've established a solid wardrobe, I can take things a little easier, and be more conscientious about the exact pieces I purchase.
I find it most difficult to resist bargains on the secondary market ...
Happy to allow myself one or two full price items a year though!
